Sissy!! Carlos!! D.J.!! Penny!! Pierre!! Stepducks is a powerful resource for educating people of all ages about the issues and adventures stepfamilies face on a daily basis. The characters are based solely on the author's (Marvin Dale) life as a father/stepfather and the antics of his children (Stepducks as he nicknamed them!). He has recreated some of those adventures through animated cartoon characters who are extremely individual and hilarious, as are most pre-teens and teenagers. They provide a vivid picture of what life is "really" like in a stepfamily. They have real-life problems, situations, peer-pressures, desires, relationships, etc. We promise you will fall in love with these characters while at the same time taking their message to heart. Stepfamilies can work!! Life is never easy, but if everyone can get on the same page, stepfamily- life can be a blast! Stepducks are the mascots to Stepfamily Day-September 16. The Stepducks encourage children and their parents to celebrate the joys, trials, and triumphs of the stepfamily on this day and throughout the year.
